can lack of internet cause death?

Still waiting for the internet to be connected in my new apartment. It's been over two weeks and we are still "experiencing difficulties" i.e. not getting any internet! It was supposed to be sorted yesterday but now won't be until  next week. I can't keep tethering my iPhone to my laptop my phone bill will be enormous!

Please all pray to the internet gods that someone will fix this terrible problem!!!
