Turquoise is such a beautiful colour and at first I was excited to see it appearing in stores, but the more I see it the less inclined I am to include it in my wardrobe. As soon as something becomes too "trendy" it feels a little bit disposable because you know in a few months it will disappear in a few months only to be replaced by the next latest trend. My advice is to pair a bright pair of shoes with a strong pattern, like this striped dress, to draw attention away from the turquoise. That way you can include it as a part of your outfit rather than the feature and avoid looking too trendy.
